Fever

It happened so suddenly I did not even have time to think about it.

I am talking about my 39.6℃ fever on Tuesday 24 June 2008. Right after a packet of Joo Seng Market Hup Lee Noodles with Otah and egg, I felt giddy and the next thing I knew was, I went into a feverish mode. I felt so heated up inside, and yet extremely sensitive to cold on the outside. In no time, I was wobbling with bodily weakness and had to sleep immediately.

In between the naps, I woke up to take my NUTRILITE Garlic (4 tablets), Triple Guard Echinacea (3 tablets), Bio C Plus (6 tablets), Milk Thistle (2 tablets) and gulped down half a packet of Active 8 with 2 scoops of Protein in a cup of eSpring water. I also took 2 tabs of paracetamol and drank/ate tons of cooling drinks and jellies. I had porridge for lunch.

After 10 hours of resting, I woke up with weakness and aches. I just had some buns and went back sleeping.

Because I missed dinner, I ended up with gastric pains the next morning, but whacking 4 tablets of NUTRILITE Calcium took care of that by lunchtime.

By today, my fever had subsided and only by evening did my weakness and giddiness go away.

Oh, but something interesting has happened... now my ten fingers are BURNING. They feel raw and slightly painful when I type or move the touchpad. It felt as if my fever had gone to them instead! : )

UPDATE THURS 26 JUNE 2008: Today I am having BURNING feet as well! Might as well call me FireMan (like IronMan)... but the creepy thing is, I have dotted spots on parts of my feet, as can be seen in the picture. Yupp, those are my HOT fingers and HOTSPOTS.
